Position Overview

Elite Physical Therapy & Stability Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. Located in Stafford, Virginia, this role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care and rehabilitation services to clients in a home care setting. The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to state practice acts and regulations governing physical therapy to ensure compliance with local laws.
• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for patients experiencing functional limitations and disabilities.
• Perform specific physical assessments, document findings, and determine necessary interventions to support patients' rehabilitation goals.
• Implement treatment protocols effectively, using clinical judgment to adapt care based on patients' evolving needs and health status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, sharing insights on patient progress and integrating recommendations to improve treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, daily encounter notes, and discharge summaries, to reflect the patient's care continuum.
• Engage in discharge planning and ensure appropriate follow-up care is coordinated.
• Participate in facility meetings and professional development initiatives to stay informed about advancements in physical therapy practices.
• Actively contribute to removing barriers to patient access, utilizing CSI measurement data to enhance service delivery and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work primarily with a diverse patient population requiring outpatient orthopedic care, including those recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia, issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with a strong background in evidence-based practice and a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment. Experience with electronic health record systems and familiarity with innovative rehabilitation technologies are also advantageous.
