Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, medical histories, and specific rehabilitation goals.
• Direct and supervise physical therapy assistants to ensure compliance with the treatment plan and uphold the highest standards of care.
• Conduct detailed evaluations utilizing diagnostic tests and functional assessments to gauge patient progress and respond to therapeutic needs effectively.
• Administer and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises, both manual and non-manual, tailored to individual recovery pathways.
• Implement various modalities, such as traction, massage, and physical agent treatments, to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Consult and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members frequently, contributing to case conferences to discuss and refine treatment strategies.
• Monitor, document, and communicate significant changes in patient conditions or responses to therapy to both physicians and case managers.
• Participate in the continual review and adaptation of care plans, ensuring that patients receive the most effective therapy tailored to their evolving needs.
• Train patients and their families in the proper use of therapy aids, promoting self-management and independence.
• Uphold the highest ethical and clinical standards while meeting all documentation and compliance requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Calm Body Innovative Fitness & Rehab, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals requiring rehabilitation after orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• At least one year of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities, exercises, and treatment techniques.
• Excellent ability to assess patient needs and develop plans that lead to effective recovery.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, demonstrating an ability to connect with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation center or outpatient clinic environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
