Tri-Fit Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team full-time at our Rehabilitation Center in Stafford, Virginia. This role is pivotal as you will collaborate with patients to enhance their mobility and improve their quality of life through targeted rehabilitation strategies. You will engage in patient-care activities that involve promoting functional independence, preventing further injury, and assisting clients in their journey to optimal physical health.

Work Environment

Located in Stafford, Virginia, our Rehabilitation Center boasts a spacious 5000 square feet of thoughtfully designed therapy space that accommodates various rehabilitation practices. The onsite structure enables collaboration among practitioners and offers an inviting atmosphere for patients. Our typical working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a stable yet dynamic weekly schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet specific patient goals and therapeutic needs.
• Conduct one-on-one patient sessions to provide focused therapy aimed at improving movement and reducing pain, with an expected patient load of one patient per hour.
• Utilize diverse treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to promote functional recovery.
• Document all patient care activities meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining up-to-date electronic records using systems such as WebPT.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and communicate updates to patients and health professionals.
• Develop group classes or wellness programs aimed at enhancing patient strength, coordination, flexibility, and overall health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support for patient rehabilitation.
• Engage patients with motivational support to encourage optimal performance and adherence to treatment regimens.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic procedures, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders in an outpatient setting. Our patients often have varied backgrounds, from athletes to active elderly individuals, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Your role will involve meeting these diverse requirements through customized therapeutic techniques and fostering a supportive healing environment.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license without any disciplinary actions.
• Strong clinical skills in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise protocols.
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) and reporting systems; experience with WebPT is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic focus is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care.
• Demonstrated ability to develop fitness and wellness-oriented programs.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, reflecting your skills and experience.
