Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet, equipped with the latest advancements in sports medicine and physical therapy. We offer a collaborative environment and pride ourselves on maintaining a small, dedicated team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA).

Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Grandcare, you will work onsite in a busy outpatient setting, engaging directly with a diverse patient population. Our standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a structured environment conducive to both productive therapy sessions and work-life balance. You will have access to modern treatment areas and rehabilitation equipment, promoting an effective and patient-centered approach to therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify individual patient needs by conducting thorough evaluations to set personalized therapeutic goals.
• Manage a patient load of one-on-one sessions, dedicating quality time to each individual to optimize treatment efficacy.
• Provide comprehensive treatment plans that may include modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes, maximizing strength, flexibility, and movement.
• Promote an active lifestyle among patients by designing customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to their specific health goals.
• Facilitate open communication with patients and their families, motivating and encouraging them throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Monitor and document patient progress diligently, adapting treatment plans to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance integrated care and ensure holistic treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily caters to patients with private medical insurance, offering a comprehensive range of orthopedic services. You will work with individuals recovering from various musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and conditions, focusing on restoring function and alleviating pain through specialized therapy. We pride ourselves on building strong patient relationships and fostering an environment that encourages healing and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia, with no disciplinary actions or board actions against the license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise routines.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, ideally WebPT, to enhance documentation efficiency.
• Strong ability to develop engaging and effective rehabilitation programs for diverse patient needs.

Preferred Experience

While experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy is essential, candidates with a strong passion for patient care and a commitment to continual professional development will also be considered. Compensation and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
