Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our outpatient office located in Fredericksburg, Virginia, which allows for a collaborative and supportive environment that emphasizes teamwork. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate new patients to assess their physical therapy needs and develop customized treatment plans in collaboration with prescribing physicians.
• Implement evidence-based treatment programs tailored to patients' specific diagnoses, ensuring that care aligns with best practices for rehabilitation.
• Engage in active communication with patients and their families, educating them about treatment processes, exercises, and expected outcomes to enhance compliance and understanding.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise physiology, to promote recovery and improve physical function.
• Document patient progress accurately and promptly in our electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by consistently providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns professionally.
• Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to assess and adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and clinical evaluations.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) awarded from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and progress to patients and families.
• Proficient in using computer systems, including EHR platforms, for documentation and patient information management.
• Ability to establish rapport with patients, enabling them to exceed their rehabilitation goals while demonstrating empathy and support.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, with exposure to outpatient care being highly desirable.
• Experience working with a diverse patient demographic, with a focus on tailored treatment approaches for varying needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and USD 120,000 annually, complemented by a robust benefits package that includes performance-based incentives, reimbursement for local and national organization dues, license renewal fees, and health insurance benefits.
