Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to create tailored treatment plans aligned with each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions, utilizing techniques aimed at restoring functional mobility and addressing pain issues as guided by the plan of care.
• Provide one-on-one treatment sessions, focusing on hands-on care and techniques that encourage positive outcomes and foster patient engagement.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring consistency with evidence-based protocols and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, rehabilitation specialists, and administrative staff to maximize patient outcomes based on collective input and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Spindletop, your client base will encompass a diverse array of patients with conditions ranging from orthopedic injuries to pediatric and neurologic diagnoses. You will specialize in managing patients recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain, allowing you to engage in a comprehensive approach to care that supports varied therapeutic paths.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a current state license in Physical Therapy are required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association is a must.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with familiarity with digital record-keeping systems, are essential for effective patient interactions and documentation.
• A passion for building strong, therapeutic relationships with patients to facilitate their healing journey and enhance their functional capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits
