Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify each patient's rehabilitation needs, developing customized treatment plans aimed at meeting their specific goals.
• Manage patient caseloads effectively, typically interacting with one patient per hour, ensuring that each individual receives focused and high-quality attention.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to perform comprehensive evaluations, leading to the implementation of targeted interventions.
• Deliver engaging and individualized physical therapy sessions utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and state-of-the-art equipment.
• Create and monitor progress towards personalized treatment plans that incorporate exercises designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and overall physical function.
• Encourage patients to adhere to their rehabilitation protocols, providing motivation and support throughout their treatment journey.
• Document each session in compliance with regulatory standards using our WebPT EMR software to maintain accurate patient records.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as needed based on patient progress.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary health care team, including physicians and specialty providers, to ensure holistic service delivery.
• Engage actively in professional development and contribute to the clinic's education initiatives for patients and staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. By focusing on evidence-based interventions and personalized care, we strive to empower our patients, enabling them to regain their independence and enhance their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and implementing exercise protocols.
• Proficiency in using WebPT EMR Software, alongside other relevant patient management tools.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating a solid understanding of physical therapy practices and patient management.
• Experience developing unique treatment programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Ability to engage with patients effectively, promoting their commitment to rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
