Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Oakbend, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations to determine patient needs and developing personalized treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Administering a wide range of therapeutic interventions designed to restore function and alleviate pain, tailored to diverse patient diagnoses.
• Providing education and training to patients and caregivers to enhance the therapeutic process and ensure effective compliance with treatment protocols.
• Demonstrating exceptional customer service skills throughout patient interactions, ensuring a compassionate approach to care.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
• Monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to support rehabilitation goals.
• Meeting utilization metrics and contributing to the overall operational objectives of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will enable you to treat a varied patient population, including individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related injuries. Each patient's care plan will be approached with individualized attention, ensuring they receive the best possible outcomes tailored to their specific rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience
