This role will take place onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Stafford, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Consulting thoroughly with patients to assess their physical conditions and understand their symptoms and limitations.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions using thorough clinical assessments and developing individualized treatment plans that align with patients' goals.
• Educating patients and families on the proper techniques for therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation protocols.
• Utilizing manual therapy techniques, including massage and stimulation, to promote accelerated healing and recovery.
• Assisting patients in the use of mobility equipment, such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices, to enhance their independence.
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records, tracking progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Providing valuable advice on in-home treatment options and exercises to foster continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, spanning various age groups and presenting a wide array of diagnoses. From pediatric patients requiring developmental assistance to older adults recovering from surgeries or managing chronic pain conditions, your expertise will directly contribute to their rehabilitation journey and overall well-being.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy are encouraged to apply.
• A valid Physical Therapy license issued by the state of Virginia.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate clinical findings and treatment plans clearly to patients and their families.
• Proficiency in using software for patient record management and scheduling.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
