Work Environment

This position is onsite and will primarily take place in the patients' homes throughout Stafford, Virginia. Our home care setting allows for a personalized approach, enabling you to deliver therapy in a familiar and comfortable environment for your patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and create tailored treatment plans that focus on their unique goals.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions that prioritize the individual needs of each patient, ensuring that they receive adequate time and attention.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patients' functional movement, flexibility, and strength.
• Utilize advanced orthopedic practices to facilitate patient recovery while focusing on preventive care and non-surgical alternatives.
• Design and oversee personalized fitness and wellness programs that encourage ongoing physical activity beyond the therapy sessions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of treatment processes as well as progress notes, using electronic medical records (EMR) software, especially WebPT.
• Monitor and adjust care plans based on patient feedback and progress evaluations, ensuring the highest standard of care.
• Foster open communication and collaboration with other medical professionals involved in the patients' care plans, addressing any interdisciplinary concerns.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their journey to recovery, reinforcing their commitment to regaining independence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary clientele will comprise individuals of varying ages and backgrounds needing rehabilitation services due to accidents, surgeries, chronic pain, or mobility challenges. Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license, with a strong standing and no history of sanctions or disciplinary action.
• Exceptional clinical skills in manual therapy techniques, alongside a solid foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in creating and implementing successful exercise regimens tailored to various patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for comprehensive record-keeping and patient management.
• A commitment to ongoing education, ensuring that all therapeutic techniques are aligned with the latest research in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in home health, outpatient, or orthopedic settings is advantageous.
• Experience working with geriatric populations, including knowledge of age-related physical challenges.
• Demonstrated record of effective patient success stories, showcasing the impact of your therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits
