Key Responsibilities

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating physical therapy needs through comprehensive assessments to establish baseline functionality and needs.
• Designing and implementing effective treatment programs tailored to individual patient needs, in accordance with physician directives.
• Conducting specialized sessions for a diverse patient population, ranging from orthopedic and pediatric to neurologic and sports medicine cases.
• Providing ongoing education to patients and their caregivers regarding therapeutic exercises and home care techniques to further promote healing and recovery.
• Monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Documenting treatment processes and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and maximize outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As part of Oakbend Physical Therapy, you will work with a varied demographic, addressing the needs of patients recovering from surgery, injuries, chronic pain, and other health-related conditions. Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
