Work Environment

As a home health Physical Therapist at Redeemer, you will work onsite at patients' residences, making it essential to be adaptable and able to navigate varying home environments. Your schedule will typically run Monday through Friday, encompassing a 40-hour workweek. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.
• Implement treatment protocols using evidence-based techniques, focusing on improving patient functionality and quality of life.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service by actively engaging with patients and their families, ensuring their understanding and compliance with treatment plans.
• Utilize clinical expertise to guide patients through various therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and adherence to established goals.
• Regularly consult and collaborate with other healthcare providers to enhance overall patient care and address any interdisciplinary needs.
• Meet or exceed minimum utilization goals and participate in performance evaluations aimed at continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatric cases, and sports-related issues. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, with a valid state license to practice in Virginia.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey treatment instructions and engage with patients.

Compensation and Benefits
