Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location in Wichita, KS. This role is in an inpatient hospital rehabilitation setting supporting an inpatient rehab unit with a 41-bed facility and interdisciplinary therapy staff. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Active KS occupational therapy license required to start the assignment. Minimum 6 months current acute care occupational therapy experience required. BLS certification required or may be required from AHA or ARC. Experience with Meditech or similar EMR preferred. Knowledge of ESTIM, patient lifts, ADL equipment, gym equipment, and IADLs preferred. Ability to carry up to a 6-hour treatment load in an 8-hour shift. Preferred Qualifications Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred. Neuro certification or neuro experience preferred. Lymphedema certification or experience preferred. Previous experience working within interdisciplinary therapy teams (PT, OT, SLP) preferred. Assignment Details Shift hours: 07:00 to 15:30. Every other weekend rotation required. Responsible for meeting a 3-hour daily therapy requirement per inpatient rehab patient and tracking time/charges accordingly. Clinicians perform evaluations and treatments focused on ADLs and IADLs, provide hands‑on care, and support patients who require three hours of therapy per day.
