We are seeking a Senior Associate of eCommerce Merchandising to support project intake and day-to-day digital merchandising execution across an assigned segment of Newell’s portfolio of brands.This role combines project intake and coordination responsibilities with hands-on digital merchandising ownership. The ideal candidate brings experience with eCommerce merchandising workflows, product content, content syndication, and retail partner requirements, along with strong organizational and technical skills. Experience with Product Experience Management (PXM) platforms such as Salsify is preferred.The Senior Associate will work closely with cross-functional partners to manage incoming requests, coordinate priorities, execute digital merchandising activities, and ensure products are accurately represented and ready to launch across eCommerce channels. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to solving content, workflow, and digital shelf challenges.How You’ll Contribute to Newell’s SuccessManage and coordinate digital merchandising requests, ensuring requirements are accurately captured, prioritized, and routed for executionOwn day-to-day eCommerce merchandising activities for an assigned segment, supporting global new item setup, maintenance, and digital shelf readiness across retailer and syndication platformsCoordinate project workflows and deliverables within Jira, maintaining visibility to priorities, timelines, dependencies, and outstanding actionsEnsure product content is accurate, complete, and retailer-ready to support successful product launches and customer requirementsSupport content syndication and retailer onboarding activities across key retail and marketplace partnersPartner with Brand, Sales, Supply Chain, eCommerce, IT, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and execute digital merchandising activitiesMonitor content and project readiness, proactively identifying data gaps, workflow issues, or risks that may impact launches and timelinesApply digital merchandising best practices and established content standards to improve content quality and consistencyTroubleshoot product content, data, workflow, and digital shelf issues, escalating more complex challenges when appropriateSupport the maintenance and continuous improvement of digital merchandising tools, processes, and workflows, including opportunities to leverage automation and PXM capabilitiesProvide project and segment status updates, helping maintain visibility to workload, priorities, and execution progressDevelop a strong understanding of retailer requirements and digital merchandising processes within the assigned segment and serve as a subject matter resource for the teamCandidate QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in eCommerce, Digital Merchandising, Content Operations, or a related field2+ years of experience in digital merchandising, content syndication, eCommerce operations, product content, project coordination, or related disciplinesUnderstanding of eCommerce merchandising practices, digital shelf requirements, product content, and the processes required to bring products to market across digital channelsExperience with Product Experience Management (PXM) and digital content platforms; Salsify preferredExperience working with systems such as Salsify, Syndigo, Stibo, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Workfront, Jira, or similar platformsUnderstanding of how product data and content flow through PXM, syndication, retailer, and marketplace ecosystemsExperience supporting new item setup, product launches, content syndication, retailer onboarding, or digital shelf readiness within CPG, consumer durables, retail, or related environments preferredStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, workflows, and deadlinesAbility to analyze merchandising and content challenges, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutionsStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, technology, and commercial teamsSelf-directed and comfortable taking ownership of work, managing competing priorities, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvementThe New Jersey base pay range for this position is from $84,480. to $116,160.
