Joplin Campus Job Type: Staff The KCU Barista works at one of the beautiful, on-campus coffeeshops, providing excellent customer service to KCU students,faculty and staff. Essential Duties Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food anddrink orders Preparing and serving beverages, ranging from simple tocomplex Answering customers' questions about menu choices Promoting and recommending menu options to customers Taking payment and operating point-of-sale system Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning,troubleshooting and scheduling repairs Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency andquality of service Qualifications Previous barista experience strongly preferred Excellent customer service Professional, friendly, and outgoing personality Equal Opportunity Employer KCU is committed to promoting an equal employment opportunityworkplace.
