Job Information Working Title: Program Technician II Job Code: JC-521867 Positions: 3 Salary Range: $3,833.00 – $4,804.00 Location: San Bernardino County Work Shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Work Week: Monday – Friday Department: Employment Development Department (EDD) Responsibilities Process complex program specialist work under general supervision, including detailed and technical forms, files, and other documentation associated with multiple departmental programs. Perform detailed calculations and processing in cases where guidelines are not clear. Provide sensitive and detailed program information and/or direction to the public, employees, employers, medical providers, other public jurisdictions, or clients. Identify and report any suspected fraudulent claims or activities. Perform additional specialized work or projects as assigned. Demonstrate awareness of the Department and Branch vision, mission, values, and goals. Qualifications Must meet the minimum qualifications listed in the Classification Specification for Program Technician II. Under general supervision, demonstrate the ability to handle detailed technical programs and investigations. Have strong analytical and communication skills to provide program guidance and support to partners and the public.
