About the Role Position Overview TTH is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to support our attorneys in the litigation and defense of general liability, transportation, professional malpractice, product liability, insurance coverage, commercial, labor and employment, and related matters. The ideal candidate is proactive, thrives in a fast-paced litigation domain and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work that supports the firm's commitment to service and results. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with all phases of civil litigation, from case intake through trial and resolution Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and subpoenas Organize, manage, and maintain case files, discovery materials, and exhibits in both physical and electronic formats Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy and attorney preparation Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial logistics Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, court personnel, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel as directed Prepare and organize trial exhibits, binders, and materials; assist with trial preparation and support Track case deadlines, statutes of limitations, and court filing requirements using case management or calendaring systems Assist with e-filing in state and federal courts Review and summarize medical records, depositions, and other case documents Support attorneys with discovery management, including document review and production Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Qualifications Associate's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program required; Bachelor's degree preferred Prior paralegal experience in civil litigation defense strongly preferred; experience with insurance defense or general liability matters a plus Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and court rules in relevant state and federal jurisdictions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Proficiency with legal research tools, e-filing systems, and case management software Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a legal team High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity Required Skills Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and court rules in relevant state and federal jurisdictions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Proficiency with legal research tools, e-filing systems, and case management software Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a legal team High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity Preferred Skills Prior paralegal experience in civil litigation defense strongly preferred Experience with insurance defense or general liability matters a plus Pay range and compensation package What TTH Offers Supportive, team-oriented work environment with opportunities for mentoring and skill development Continuing education and professional development opportunities Exposure to a broad and varied litigation practice across multiple substantive areas A collaborative, diverse, and inclusive firm culture Opportunities for growth within a well-established and expanding regional firm Equal Opportunity Statement TTH is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
