Position Overview

The Business Development & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for driving company growth by building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting the company's services through networking, marketing, and community engagement. This role supports business development initiatives by coordinating events, creating marketing content, managing CRM activities, conducting market research, and collaborating with leadership to increase brand awareness and expand the company's presence in the industry.

 

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, relationship building, referrals, and market research.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, suncontractors, project managers, engineers, and other industry professionals.
• Represent Americrane Rentals at industry events, trade associations, networking functions, and customer meetings to increase brand awareness and generate business opportunities.
• Coordinate community outreach initiatives and foster relationships with local organizations, schools, workforce development programs, and industry partners.
• Plan and support company events, sponsorships, customer appreciation events, and trade shows.
• Create marketing content for social media, project spotlights, email campaigns, and promotional materials highlighting company capabilities and completed projects.
• Collaborate with the website manager by providing content, project updates, and recommendations to keep the company website current and engaging.
• Maintain customer and prospect activity within the CRM and support lead tracking efforts.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations and leadership to communicate company capabilities and support business growth initiatives.
• Promote Americrane's services, including crane rental, specialized rigging, heavy haul transportation, machinery moving, plant relocations, storage solutions, and turnkey lifting solutions.

 

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in business development, marketing, sales, customer relations, or community outreach.
• Experience in the construction, crane, heavy equipment, transportation, or industrial services industry is a plus.
• Experience planning events, trade shows, or networking functions is preferred.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent networking and customer service abilities.
• Experience creating content for social media, email marketing, and promotional materials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using CRM software to manage customer relationships and sales activities.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to conduct market research and identify business opportunities.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Professional presentation and public speaking skills.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel locally for customer meetings, networking events, job sites, and trade shows.
• Ability to occasionally work evenings or weekends for company events and industry functions.
