Job Opportunity: Locum - Physician - Cardiology in Petoskey, MI

We are actively seeking a Board Certified General Cardiologist for a weekend and extended locum tenens assignment, providing comprehensive cardiac care to our community. With state-of-the-art facilities and a supportive environment including experienced Advanced Practice Providers, this is an exceptional opportunity to enhance your practice while experiencing the beauty of Northern Michigan.

• Provide comprehensive cardiac care as part of a dedicated team.
• Coverage from Sunday through Saturday, including hospital and clinic call responsibilities.
• Inpatient and call coverage from 6am to 6am, with no clinic responsibilities.
• Work alongside three (3) inpatient Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who provide support.
• Utilize Cerner as the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Perform required procedures such as echocardiography and treadmill stress tests.
• Interpret various diagnostic studies related to cardiovascular health.

• Board Certified in Cardiology (REQUIRED)
• Active Michigan medical license (REQUIRED)
• Must reside in Michigan or be able to drive to the location; no flights allowed (REQUIRED)
• Clean background check for quick credentialing (REQUIRED)
• Current DEA registration (verbal confirmation required at name clear) (REQUIRED)
• Self-Query NPDB (must be pulled within the month) (REQUIRED)
• Flu vaccine for the 24-25 season and other specified immunization records

• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Active Michigan medical license (non-compact)
