Physician - Cardiology

Job Details:

• Coverage needed per month: 2-3 weeks
• Schedule includes 24-hour call with clinic hours Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• When on hospital call, provider works in clinic Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with full days in clinic on Tuesday and Thursday
• Minimal night-time calls expected
• Support staff includes Technicians and Registered Nurses
• Responsibilities include evaluation and management of new and established patients, cardiac risk assessment, EKGs, Holter monitor placements, pacemaker checks, supervision of EKGs, treadmill stress tests, nuclear stress testing, TEEs, and Cardioversions
• Patient volume of 22-24 patients per day with 30 minutes for new patients and 15 minutes for established patients
• Patient age group: 18 and older
• Required skills include EKG interpretation, TEE, and nuclear stress tests
• West Virginia state license required; IMLC accepted
• DEA required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Clean background required
• Travel covered by client
