Global Head Strategic Partnerships and Commercial Development
Baxter Healthcare
Baxter seeks an experienced commercial leader to build and scale a new biologics manufacturing and pharmaceutical partnership services platform. Reporting to the VP of Strategy & Business Development, this senior director will develop commercial strategy, secure strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, and establish Baxter as a trusted provider in biologics services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial strategy for U.S. biologics services business
- Build and manage relationships with senior leaders at pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies
- Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships and manufacturing opportunities
- Partner with internal teams to develop customer solutions and support commercialization activities
- Define service offerings, business processes, operating models, and growth strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in scientific, engineering, or business discipline
- 15+ years in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, life sciences, or related industries
- Significant business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial leadership experience
- Demonstrated success building executive relationships and managing complex commercial engagements
- Strong project management, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership capabilities
- Preferred: Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, PharmD) and biologics or CDMO experience
- Preferred: Knowledge of GMP requirements, aseptic processing, and global regulatory frameworks
