About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its team. The CFO will be a key strategic partner to the CEO and the private equity sponsor, responsible for building and professionalizing the finance function, including processes, controls, and reporting infrastructure. This role involves owning budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and KPI reporting, as well as leading board reporting and supporting lender and investor communications. The successful candidate will also be involved in evaluating and optimizing existing accounting and finance resources, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and assessing and executing M&A opportunities. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have previous experience within a private equity-backed environment, with a preference for those who have served as an existing CFO or a proven #2 finance leader ready for a first CFO role. Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities are essential, as is a background in technology-enabled services, marketplaces, distribution, or education services. The role requires a hands-on finance leader who is comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment and is adept at building processes and systems within a growing business. Exposure to board reporting, lender relationships, and PE stakeholders is also a key requirement.
