Job Description

The Customer Experience Representative serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers once a spot quote request has been executed within Transportation Pricing & Quoting for the Americas. This role is responsible for coordinating approved quotes with relevant internal stakeholders and providing customer service support throughout execution ensuring a seamless handoff from pricing to operations and timely resolution of any issues that arise.

This role sets the tone for the customer experience once a quote moves from pricing into execution. Responsive, accurate coordination and communication protect customer relationships and prevent execution issues from becoming service failures across the Americas geography.

Reports to the Strategic Solutions Manager, Transportation Pricing & Quoting The Americas

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary customer service contact for internal and external customers following the execution of a requested quote.
• Coordinate approved quotes with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth, accurate handoff from pricing to execution.
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to executed quotes in a timely, professional manner.
• Communicate quote status, changes, or issues to affected internal teams and external customers.
• Maintain accurate records of quote execution and post-quote customer interactions in the Pricing Database.
• Escalate unresolved customer service issues or recurring execution problems to management.

***Position is on site full-time at any Expeditors office in the US***

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail; comfortable triaging a high volume of inbound requests.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Working knowledge of Expeditors' service offerings and team structures, in order to determine and route requests correctly.
• Able to prioritize and process requests quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
• Comfortable working within a Pricing Database or quote intake system.
