Our client isn't building just another car company — they're launching a fully autonomous ride-hailing service. As a Fleet Support Specialist , you're the operational backbone that keeps a cutting-edge robot vehicle fleet healthy, scheduled, and ready to roll.

$39.46/hour | Full-time | Onsite in Austin, TX | Sun–Thu, 2:00PM–10:30PM

Why This Role is Different

You won't be pushing paper in a back office. You'll be embedded in a live repair shop, working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers, technicians, and product teams at one of the most exciting moments in transportation history — the shift from R&D to real-world commercial launch.

What You'll Own

Fleet Health & Scheduling

• Partner with the scheduling team to book and optimize vehicle repairs
• Monitor open vehicle issues in real time and generate action plans
• Keep constant situational awareness of the full fleet status

Data, Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate vehicle health and repair history
• Build and support daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly fleet performance reports
• Develop and refine technical documentation and processes

Parts & Maintenance

• Manage parts requests, ordering, and availability for scheduled and unscheduled repairs
• Create and track work orders, manufacturing orders, and bill-of-materials updates across systems (SAP, SERVO, LOGX, Jira)
• Log maintenance results and flag upcoming service needs before they become problems

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Interface with FleetOps, engineering, and product teams to streamline hardware/software handoffs from development into operations
• Close the loop on repair feedback so real field data drives product improvement
• Support Fleet PMs in hitting high-level operational targets

What You Bring

• 1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced service or automotive environment
• Familiarity with automotive repair processes and fundamentals
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Google/MS Office Suites
• Strong organizational skills — you can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
• Clear, fast communicator across email, Slack, and in-person settings
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Safety boots required (ASTM F2412/F2413 compliant)

A Few Things to Know

• Travel: New hires travel to Foster City, CA for one week within the first month — and up to 50% travel may be required as the role evolves
• Shop environment: You'll be on the floor alongside the team, not just behind a screen
• Location: Austin, TX — must be local
