- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger activity, and cash management
- Reconcile bank, investment, and financial accounts
- Process dividends, distributions, and client bill payments
- Prepare budgets, expenditure reports, and financial schedules
- Record asset, liability, investment, and loan transactions
- Calculate depreciation and maintain fixed asset records
- Process payroll and payroll tax filings
- Assist with sales tax reporting
- Support the preparation of 1040 and business tax returns
- Coordinate tax payments and related documentation
- Participate in client meetings and support client requests
- Communicate financial information, engagement updates, and business matters
- Maintain relationships with bankers, attorneys, investment advisors, and other third parties
- Support insurance administration and other personal financial matters for clients
- Research and coordinate purchases, vendors, and service providers on behalf of clients
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- QuickBooks proficiency
- Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- Excellent communication and client-service abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Public accounting experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Experience with 1040 and business tax return preparation
- CPA or CPA-track candidate
