Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a well-established manufacturing company who is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join their team at their food processing plant. This is an excellent direct hire opportunity in a hands-on, industrial environment supporting 24/7 production equipment. This role is working 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00am–3:30pm, with occasional weekend overtime as needed during peak season.

Responsibilities:

• Support maintenance and engineering projects focused on equipment reliability and process improvements
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and automated production systems
• Diagnose equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Install, replace, and maintain electrical and mechanical components, including motors, drives, pumps, controls, and instrumentation
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and system documentation
• Utilize CMMS software to manage work orders, document repairs, and track maintenance activities
• Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and automation-related projects
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams while maintaining safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or related field; equivalent experience considered
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, automation, and mechanical equipment
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, instrumentation, and automated machinery
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Experience using CMMS software and maintenance management systems
