Junior Account Manager Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm on-site
• Pay Rate: $25 p/hour

Junior Account Manager Job Description:

• Answer customer calls and emails promptly and professionally
• Call on existing book of business
• Enter orders and prepare customer quotes
• Assist with pricing, inventory availability, shipping and tracking questions
• Communicate backorders and resolve routine order issues
• Follow up on open quotes, orders and customer requests
• Support Business Development reps with customer activity and account maintenance
• Build relationships with customers and identify potential sales opportunities
• Learn the company products, customers and internal systems

Junior Account Manager Job Requirements:

• Strong customer-service and communication skills
• Organized, dependable and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Professional phone and email skills
• Accurate data-entry and basic computer skills
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of customer needs
• Previous customer service, inside sales or distribution experience is preferred
• Construction-industry experience is helpful but not required
