Occupational Therapist School Setting in Anoka, MN

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing vital Occupational Therapy services in a dynamic school setting near Anoka, MN. Multiple openings are available, including two full-time positions and one long-term substitute role (covering the first few months, with dates to be determined). Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
• Previous experience in school-based therapy preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt OT interventions for a varied caseload of 20-40 students
• Committed to fostering inclusion and promoting independence for all students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students across a single assigned building
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in accordance with student IEPs
• Work collaboratively with special education staff, teachers, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and therapy sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Provide consultative support and resources to staff and families as needed
• Support students in a specialized setting with small group or one-on-one interventions, particularly focusing on Setting 4 needs

This contract begins on September 8, 2026, and continues through June 10, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek. Support will be provided at one educational center, with potential involvement at our multiple education centers near Anoka.
