Accounts Payable Specialist

You will be tasked with receiving, processing, verifying invoices, and performing accounting and administrative tasks as needed. This position requires you to have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles, and the ability to accurately carry out high volumes of data entry.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities including receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain vendor relationships, respond to vendor inquiries, and resolve any discrepancies in invoice payments.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payment transactions.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of vendor payments.
• Utilize Apetch and PVNG systems to streamline and automate the accounts payable process.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to enhance transparency and aid in financial planning.
• Work collaboratively with the finance team to improve financial processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or a similar role in the finance/accounting field.
• Proficient in vendor management and invoice processing.
• Proficient in data entry and administrative tasks.
• Strong knowledge of Apetch and PVNG systems.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizing abilities.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is a plus.
