ProCare Therapy is seeking flexible and compassionate Substitute Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to support a school district in Downingtown, PA . This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to make an impact while maintaining a flexible schedule in a school-based setting.

Position Details:

• Location: Downingtown, PA
• Student Population: K–12
• Schedule: As-needed / flexible scheduling
• Hours: Opportunity for full-day or partial-day assignments based on district needs
• Compensation: $23/hr
• Contract:
  • Current school year coverage
  • Potential for ongoing or long-term opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in the absence of regularly assigned staff
• Assist with daily living activities, mobility, and classroom participation
• Support behavioral and instructional goals under the direction of school staff
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Adapt quickly to different classrooms and student needs

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
• Ability to be flexible and responsive to varying assignments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, patient, and adaptable
