Job Summary:
The ICU Specialized Registered Nurse position in Bowling Green, Kentucky, involves providing critical care within a 16-bed unit that requires strong clinical skills and patient management. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic environment that includes advanced equipment and procedures. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit
• Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week minimum
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and licensure must be held; no prior experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in intensive care settings and familiarity with critical procedures such as central line insertions and dialysis catheter placements is advantageous.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit utilizes Meditech electronic documentation and features advanced monitoring and supportive equipment including Impella devices, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, and Artic Sun systems. The unit emphasizes teamwork, flexibility in scheduling, and a commitment to patient-centered care, exemplified by awards such as the Daisy Award.
