Customer Care Representative I (Contract) Las Vegas, NV, United States (Hybrid) Contract (8 months) Published 8 days ago Job ID: JP00046661 Anticipated Start Date: 08/31/2026 Responsibility: Complete required basic training, perform basic job functions, and pass the pre‑employment test battery. Primary Duties Respond to internal and external customer questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility, and claims. Analyze problems and provide information/solutions. Operate a PC/image station to obtain and extract information, document activities, and update the database. Document inquiry outcomes for accurate tracking and analysis. Develop and maintain positive customer relations and coordinate with various functions to ensure timely and appropriate handling of customer requests. Research and analyze data to address operational challenges and customer service issues. Provide external and internal customers with requested information. Make follow‑up telephone calls or emails to answer routine customer questions under immediate supervision. Use computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting. Conduct outbound calls in the ZipDrug business area. Additional Expectations Multi‑task: handle calls, texts, facsimiles, and electronic queues while taking notes and speaking to customers. Maintain focus during extended periods of sitting and handle multiple high‑pressure tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills for virtual and in‑person interactions. Attention to detail, critical thinking, problem‑solving, empathy, and persistence to resolve caller issues completely. Comfort and proficiency with digital tools and platforms to enhance productivity and reduce manual effort. Structured work schedule with occasional overtime or flexibility based on business needs, including the ability to work from the office as necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, plus previous experience in an automated customer service environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong oral, written, interpersonal, problem‑solving, facilitation, and analytical skills. Ability to work any 8‑hour shift within the following hours of operation: 5:00 AM – 6:00 PM PT / 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM MST / 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST / 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM EST. Location requirement: must be within 50 miles or a 1‑hour commute of Las Vegas, NV. Work Schedule 24‑hour operation hours with 5‑day workweeks (Monday – Friday). First 5 weeks of training are 6:00 – 2:30 PM PT / 7:00 AM – 3:30 MST / 8:00 AM – 4:30 CST / 9:00 AM – 5:30 EST. After training, permanent 8‑hour shifts will be assigned based on attendance, performance, and business need.
