About the Role:

Mayne Tree Expert Co Inc is looking for a hardworking and dedicated Groundsman to join our crew in San Carlos, CA! This is a great opportunity to work outdoors, learn the tree care industry, and be part of a skilled team that takes pride in keeping landscapes safe and beautiful.

Responsibilities:

Assist arborists and tree climbers during tree trimming, removal, and pruning operations

Operate and maintain chipper machines, wood chippers, and ground equipment

Clear and haul brush, logs, and debris from job sites

Maintain a clean and safe work zone, following all safety protocols

Load and unload equipment and materials from company vehicles

Support crew members with rigging, roping, and ground-level tasks

Perform general landscape and site cleanup after tree work is completed

Requirements:

Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, or outdoor labor preferred

Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Willingness to learn tree care techniques and safety practices

Valid driver's license preferred

Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods

Strong attention to safety and detail on job sites
