Sr. Engineer

Job Description The AI Lead is responsible for providing LoB-level thought leadership, scalable AI architecture, and end-to-end delivery of artificial intelligence solutions from proof of concept through production. This role drives the adoption of modern AI, LLM, RAG, and agentic design patterns across multiple teams and applications, ensuring solutions are secure, reusable, well-governed, and aligned to business outcomes. The role also develops understanding of Bank’s internal AI frameworks & design standards to enable solutions that meet enterprise design & implementation requirements. Responsibilities and duties include: Define and lead the engineering approach for complex features to deliver significant business outcomes. Ensure that design and engineering approach for complex features are consistent with the larger portfolio solution. Define the technology tool stack for the solution and evaluate and adapt new testing tool/framework/practices for team(s). Enable team(s)/applications with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) capabilities and engage with other technical stakeholders on efficient functioning of CI/CD pipeline. Guide and influence team(s) on design and best practices for high code performance – e.g., pairing, code reviews. Provide end-to-end delivery of complex features, including automation, for either a single team or multiple teams, at the program level. Conduct research, design prototyping and other exploration activities such as evaluating new toolsets and components for release management, CI/CD, and features. Work with stakeholders to establish high‑level solution needs and collaborate with architects for technical requirements.
