Knowledge of CR&B, including application of account processing charges, meter reading and billing schedules Rates including, Rate 01, 06, 07, 09, 09P, 19, 19P, 24, 40, 41, 42, 15, 66DD Viewer, Field Services mapping systems, Fuse, Passport/Asset Suite, Customer Information System, BI Launch pad, CLRIS, Mobile workforce, Etrackit, city permit websites, county assessors websites, and standard SharePoint functionalitySkills in:Effective communication and interpersonal skillsBuilding productive work relationships, critical thinking, working in a team and independently, assisting with the training and mentoring of new Service SpecialistsUnderstanding scope of work, troubleshooting issues that may be critical, sensitive, or urgent in natureAbility to:Understand the interdependence of processes and impact on other work groupsAnalyze data and make conclusions. Initiate action and work independentlyMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSService Specialist IEducation:High school diploma or GEDExperience:3 years of customer service experience in an office environment or related industryExperience operating computer software including Microsoft Office suite or equivalent and customer information systemsPreferred:4 years of customer service experience in an office environment or related industryExperience working with internal or external customers to obtain sensitive information while maintaining positive working relationshipService Specialist IIEducation:High school diploma or GEDExperience:5 years of customer service experience in an office environment or related industry, including 2 recent years as a Service Specialist I with successful completion of training programExperience operating computer software including Microsoft Office suite or equivalent and customer information systemsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people.
