About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Advancement to play a key role in the development and execution of strategic fundraising initiatives that align with the organization's mission and financial sustainability. The successful candidate will work closely with the Grant Manager, Marketing, and Community Engagement teams to cultivate donor relationships, secure funding, and promote philanthropic engagement. This executive leadership position requires a professional with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5-8 years of progressive fundraising experience, preferably within a nonprofit setting. The role involves serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to strategic planning, and leading the effort to meet annual philanthropic revenue goals. Essential job functions for the Vice President of Advancement include the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual, corporate, foundation, and community partners. The role also involves leading and supporting various fundraising campaigns, representing the organization in the community, and fostering a culture of philanthropy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in major gift solicitation, campaign management, and donor stewardship, as well as strong communication skills and proficiency in donor management and CRM systems. The position requires the ability to travel and work flexible hours, and the candidate must be authorized to work in the United States and pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
