Duties

• Operate underground digging equipment such as skid loaders, excavators, and horizontal drills to install or repair pipelines and utility lines
• Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, pipe placement, and material transport in compliance with safety protocols
• Follow safety standards in production environments, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as helmets, gloves, and safety vests
• Perform routine inspections of underground equipment to ensure mechanical integrity and safe operation
• Adhere strictly to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations and safety procedures during all activities

Experience

• Prior experience working in underground or utility installation is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience operating underground utility equipment such as drills, loaders, excavators
• Knowledge of pipeline installation, horizontal drilling, and industrial equipment operation
• Familiarity with safety standards related to underground construction sites and heavy equipment operation
• Experience working outdoors in challenging conditions with a focus on safety regulation adherence
• Construction site experience involving excavation, heavy lifting, and use of construction tools is advantageous
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or the ability to obtain one would be preferred
