Accounts Receivable Specialist

Accounts Receivable AccountantWe are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our client's team in Houston, Texas. This role involves managing high-volume invoicing-time and material, payment postings, and reconciliation while collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate and timely billing. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a keen attention to detail to streamline invoicing processes effectively.Responsibilities:Process a large volume of invoices daily, including custom and complex billing, using time and material data from multiple platforms.Review timesheets and transfer information to appropriate systems to create accurate invoices.Post payments, including wire transfers, and handle occasional collections and reconciliations.Perform adjustments to accounts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve billing issues.Utilize Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP to analyze and organize data.Assist in streamlining invoicing processes by working with proprietary programs and internal systems.Prepare invoices for managerial review and approval before submission.Maintain detailed and organized records of accounts receivable transactions.Provide support during audits or financial reviews related to accounts receivable.
