They take a conservative, consultative approach offering treatment plans tailored to each individual patient. They are experts in neck and spine, knee, shoulder, arm and elbow, hand and wrist, hip, leg, and ankle and foot.POSITION DESCRIPTION: The new spine surgeon will see patients in an established office and surgery center, performing orthopedic spine surgeries. Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:Consult with patients to determine appropriate courses of treatmentPerform necessary surgical procedures in the treatment of injuries or symptomsExamine patients while ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic testsObtain information on medical conditions to determine diagnosisProvide consultation and comprehensive management of patientsMonitor patients' conditions and progressReevaluate patients' conditions and progress as necessarySupport appropriate referralsThe full details of the position are negotiable and will be collaboratively decided between the practice and the physician. The practice is able to offer 2 to 4 shifts per month in this office. If additional work is desired, that can be provided in the area of interventional pain and/or traveling to out-of-state offices for additional spine work.REQUIREMENTS: California medical license DEA Board Certified / Eligible, Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship, Spine Surgery
