We're looking for a Civil Engineer with an Engineer Intern (EI) certification to join our Kalispell team and contribute to a wide variety of land development and infrastructure projects. As part of our collaborative, full-service design team, you'll work alongside engineers, surveyors, architects, planners, clients, contractors, and public agencies to help deliver practical, high-quality solutions that make a lasting impact. From subdivisions and stormwater systems to water infrastructure, site grading, erosion control, and roadway improvements, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of projects. Occasional travel for site visits, client meetings, and project observations may be required. Key Responsibilities Support project engineers and project managers throughout project design and construction phases. Assist in developing practical, efficient, and constructable solutions that meet project objectives and client needs. Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to develop civil engineering concepts, plans, specifications, and construction documents. Coordinate with public agencies, clients, contractors, manufacturers, vendors, and internal project teams. Utilize industry software to assist with grading, drainage, stormwater, water, sewer, and related civil infrastructure designs. Support permitting and agency coordination efforts as required. Respond to contractor questions and provide support during construction. Contribute to a positive team environment while continuing to develop technical knowledge and professional skills. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. Successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and hold Engineer Intern (EI) certification. Minimum of 2 years of civil engineering design experience. Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D drafting and design. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and site development practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. WHY JOIN JACKOLA?
