We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support the daily accounting operations of one of Fresno's most iconic dining destinations. This role will own accounts payable operations while also supporting payroll, reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will be well versed in full-cycle bookkeeping, thrives in a fast-paced service-centered environment, and can help bring structure, accuracy, and accountability to the accounting department.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Own the full Accounts Payable process including preparing weekly AP check runs
• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely including matching invoices to purchase orders.
• Monitor due dates and manage payment schedules as well as maintain organized documentation.
• Assist with weekly payroll processing including reviewing timesheets for accuracy.
• Coordinate payroll-related updates with HR/accounting and assist with payroll record maintenance.
• Maintain general ledger for accuracy and record journal entries and daily accounting transactions.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations as well as reconcile credit card accounts and loan balances.
• Assist with month end and year end closing.
• Support accurate financial reporting to CPA for audit and tax filings.
• Maintain accounting organization filing systems and improve processes and internal controls.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (preferably in a similar industry)
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting
• Strong Excel and reconciliation skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Position offers a competitive annual salary between $75,000 - $80,000 with generous benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and Sick Time.
