Position Overview

Kings View is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role partners with Human Resources and Accounting to support payroll, employee benefits, tax reporting, audits, and payroll system administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly, biweekly, and monthly payroll.

• Verify timecards, payroll data, and payroll adjustments.
• Prepare payroll tax filings and required reports.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and support month-end reporting.
• Administer payroll-related benefit deductions and 401(k) processing.
• Respond to employee payroll and tax inquiries.
• Support audits, HRIS maintenance, and payroll compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and employee information.

What You'll Bring

• Three (3) years of progressively responsible payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-state or multi-site environment, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• High School Diploma (or Equivalent)
• Knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and payroll tax reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with payroll/HRIS systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Work Environment

This position may be performed in an office or remote work environment and requires frequent use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment.
