Senior Director, Technology & Digital Platforms

The Role: The Senior Director, Technology & Digital Platforms will serve as the senior leader responsible for all software development, technology infrastructure, data engineering, and AI innovation. Responsibilities: Own the full software lifecycle: architecture, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Lead the design and evolution of applications, and internal digital tools. Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and modern development methodologies. Drive innovation in automation, cloud services, AI/ML, and data-driven product capabilities. Partner with product and business teams to translate needs into scalable software solutions. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, privacy, and security standards. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies across software and hardware. Implement KPIs and operational metrics to measure system performance, uptime, and delivery velocity. Oversee technology budgets, forecasting, and resource planning. Establish governance frameworks for software releases, infrastructure changes, and security controls. Develop a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with business goals. Identify emerging technologies that can create competitive advantage. Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on technology investments and priorities. Prepare the organization for scale through improved architecture, automation, and process maturity. Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, technology operations, or systems architecture. Deep expertise in software languages such as Python, including modern frameworks and tooling. Strong experience designing, building, and integrating APIs, with a preference for RESTful API architectures. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across software and hardware domains. Experience implementing cybersecurity frameworks and managing risk across software and hardware environments. Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills. The hiring range for this position is $180,000 to $225,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits.
