Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services to patients of all ages, primarily in a NICU setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The assignment begins on July 20, 2026, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts and minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, beginning on 07/20/2026.
• Required Qualifications:
  • 24 months of current Respiratory Therapy experience in a hospital setting.
  • NICU experience within the last 18 months.
  • Level III or Level IV NICU experience within the last 15 months.
  • 36 months of current Respiratory Therapy employment history.
  • EPIC (Electronic Health Record) experience.
  • Iowa Respiratory license (highly preferred).
  • Active certifications including BLS, NRP, NBRC, ACLS, and PALS.
  • Valid drivers license.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with jet ventilator, Drager Vent, and Oscillator Vent equipment.
  • Previous travel assignment within the last 15 months.
• Additional Information:
  • The candidate must be willing and able to float across different units throughout the hospital.
  • No first-time travelers; must have completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months.

  • Holiday work may be required for Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
