Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This role will manage the monthly close process, general ledger activity, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Manage the month-end and year-end close process Oversee general ledger accounting and ensure accurate account activity Prepare and review account reconciliations , journal entries, and accruals Manage and review accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports Analyze variances and investigate unusual or unexpected activity Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audits Develop and improve accounting processes, controls, and procedures Supervise, mentor, and support accounting staff Partner with Finance, Operations, and other departments on accounting-related matters Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable accounting regulations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior experience in an Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accountant capacity Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting Experience managing the month-end close Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP Experience with an ERP/accounting system such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Sage Intacct, or Microsoft Dynamics Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Green Key Resources
