Job Summary
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position is located in San Francisco. The role involves providing specialized critical care services in a fast-paced environment. This position requires floating to various ICU departments and other departments within the healthcare facility to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour day/night rotating shifts with a schedule cycle of four weeks, which may switch to the opposite shift depending on operational needs.
• Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) license, BSN degree, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, minimum of 2 years recent adult medical/surgical critical care RN experience, and 2 years of patient ratio experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, recent float pool, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), or Emergency Room experience.
• Travel Experience: Required.
• Additional Information: This is a float pool position, not unit-based, with the ability to float to all adult critical care units, emergency departments, and Post Anesthesia Care Units (PACU). Candidates must have experience with advanced procedures including ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters. Orientation includes 24 hours of pre-start modules, and all necessary certifications must be in hand before start. The assignment begins on 08/18/2026, with a mandatory orientation registration at 4:00 pm PST the Monday before the start date. RTO requests are to be disclosed at the time of submittal and require manager approval at the time of offer.
