Industrial Janitor

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking Industrial Janitor workers to work with a top energy and utility company in the Winfield, WV area. This company is highly reputable with several awards for growth, equality, and safety.

Job Summary
Perform manual duties in power plants to maintain cleanliness and neat appearance of the facility.


Essential Job Functions & Tasks

• Sweeps, washes, cleans, and paints buildings, floors, and equipment.
• Maintains roads, lawns, shrubs, and flowers, using power mowers and gardener's hand tools.
• Washes down all concrete slab areas and roadways around plant site to remove coal/ash dust and sludge products. Shovels coal spillage onto conveyers.
• Removes all trash from the facility and cleans spills that have occurred within the plant.

Other Requirements

• Must learn and comply with plant operating instructions and safety practices.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and manuals.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Professional conduct and interaction with employees and contractors.
• Willing to work rotating shifts and respond to callouts.
• High School Diploma or GED
