Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct both standard and complex clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Participate in specimen extraction and prepare samples for analytical testing as necessary.
• Meticulously document all processes, assist in training new personnel or students, and actively contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Ongoing certification must be maintained throughout your tenure.
