Compensation : $110,000 - $130,000 (commensurate with experience)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to join our advisory team and partner directly with our clients on a wide range of accounting and finance projects. This role is hands-on, client facing, and ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex financial and accounting challenges across multiple environments. The successful candidate brings a blend of public accounting and industry experience, or current/recent experience in a finance and accounting advisory role.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute client-facing accounting and finance engagements from planning through delivery.
• Assess clients' current processes, systems, and controls; identify gaps and recommend practical improvements.
• Support clients with technical accounting, GAAP application, and complex transaction and reporting matters.
• Develop, analyze, and improve financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for clients.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication across multiple concurrent engagements.
• Collaborate with client leadership to interpret results and drive data-informed business decisions.
• Coordinate and mentor project team members to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
• Contribute to business development through proposal support, scoping discussions, and client relationship building.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance
• Possess a blend of public accounting and industry experience, or advisory/consulting experience in finance and accounting
• CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification
• Demonstrate strong client-facing interpersonal skills and comfort leading meetings with executive stakeholders
• Prior hands-on experience with financial statements, month-end close, and process improvement
• Communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing
• Balance multiple projects and priorities while maintaining high quality and attention to detail

Preferred

• Exposure to ERP implementations, system conversions, or finance technology initiatives
