Schedule

Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30), Tuesday through Saturday. Weekend coverage required every Saturday.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessment and treatment services in a clinical healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong evaluation skills and be proficient in diverse therapeutic techniques relevant to adult and geriatric populations, with a focus on patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' communication and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Utilize various therapeutic approaches, including augmentative communication and cognitive performance strategies.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Document therapy progress and modifications to treatment plans accurately using Epic.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and care strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Preferred experience in acute care and rehabilitation settings, particularly with CVA and traumatic injuries.
